The cove joint is the juncture at the base of the wall where the floor and wall meet. During a heavy rain, hydrostatic pressure may cause water to enter the basement through this joint. Rather than sealing the joint, which isn't a permanent repair, our proven basement systems actually prevent water from entering through this joint.
