Alan is a Registered Professional Engineer in Missouri and Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from KU and a Master of Business Administration from UMKC. He joined the Dry Basement® team in 2004 as Senior Engineer and Repair Estimator. Prior to that, he worked in extensive engineering design, construction, and management for private, industrial and government clients. His position at Dry Basement® involves providing civil, structural and environmental inspection, design and expert forensic engineering services to our customers, as well as staff support for engineering, safety and training needs. Alan has been a speaker at Miami County & Johnson County Contractor Licensing Training on Foundation Backfill and Drainage issues, and has provided expert witness services for construction practices and structural failure assessments in Missouri and Kansas. He has been the recipient of the Honeywell FM&T Special Recognition Award.
